Lloyd’s hires from Chubb for commercial director role

Lloyd’s of London on Thursday named Dawn Miller, currently regional executive officer for Chubb Ltd.’s central region and country president for Switzerland, as its commercial director.
Ms. Miller replaces Caroline Dunn, who left Lloyd’s last year. She will take up the position in the second quarter and will report to Patrick Tiernan, Lloyd’s chief of markets.
Based in London, Ms. Miller will oversee Lloyd’s global network across the Americas, Europe, Asia, Pacific and the Middle East and Africa, with responsibility for distribution, market development, and global engagement with brokers and new entrants, Lloyd’s said in a statement. She will also be responsible for innovation at Lloyd’s, including the Lloyd’s Lab.
Ms. Miller brings more than 20 years of experience and prior to Chubb held leadership positions at various companies including Axa SA, American International Group Inc. and Willis Towers Watson PLC.
