Hong Kong to continue supporting green insurance ecosystem

The Hong Kong Insurance Authority said that it will continue to nurture an ecosystem for green insurance to help the insurance sector to develop, Reinsurance News reported. A recent panel discussion hosted by the authority noted the importance of the common ground taxonomy which provides reference for identifying environmentally sustainable activities, and growing needs for climate-related risk management, from the perspectives of a risk underwriter and an impact investor.
