Agricultural premiums up 18% in 2021

China’s ministry of finance said that agricultural insurance premiums in the country climbed to 96.52 billion Chinese yuan ($15.2 billion) in 2021, up 18.4% from 2020, ChinaEconomic Net reported. Of the total, the central government allocated CNY33.35 billion in premium subsidies, up nearly 17% year-on-year.
