Truck makers face $17.5 billion price-fixing class-action lawsuit

U.K.-based law firm Weightmans LLP is looking to launch a class-action lawsuit against five European truck makers, including AB Volvo and Daimler AG, seeking up to £13 billion ($17.5 billion) in damages for alleged truck price-fixing, Proactive Investors reported citing Telegraph. Iveco SpA, MAN SE and DAF Trucks NV are also among the five truck makers accused of fixing prices for 14 years, starting from 1997.
