Class-action lawsuit against Sanofi gets court’s nod

A French court has recently allowed a class-action lawsuit over French biopharmaceutical company Sanofi SA’s epilepsy drug to proceed, France 24 reported citing AFP. The class-action was launched by the APESAC association in 2017 on behalf of the families of victims of Sanofi’s epilepsy drug Depakine, which, when consumed during pregnancy, allegedly caused severe malformations and neuro-development issues in children.
