Sanlam, Allianz to explore partnership in Africa

South Africa-based insurer Sanlam Ltd. said that it is exploring "strategic alternatives" in Africa with German insurer Allianz SE, Middle East Insurance Review reported citing Reuters. The insurers are likely to seek new business opportunities for their respective units in African nations, excluding Sanlam's home market of South Africa.
