Attack on recruitment firm affects government agencies

A cyberattack on Australia-based IT recruitment agency Finite Group APAC Pty Ltd. by the Conti ransomware gang in October is affecting banks, businesses and government agencies across the country, Infosecurity Magazine reported. During the attack, the gang stole more than 300 gigabytes of data such as the personal details of employment-seeking Australians who registered with the company.
