Food poisoning incident disrupts iPhone supplier’s operations

Apple iPhone supplier Foxconn Technology India Pvt. Ltd.’s unit in Chennai, India will close for five days after protests broke out following a food poisoning incident, ABPLive reported citing Reuters. The incident took place at Foxconn’s dormitories where more than 150 of its workers were hospitalized due to an outbreak of an acute diarrheal disease and 256 others were treated as out-patients.
