Cyber attack forces closure of over 300 Spar stores

A cyber attack on food retail chain Spar (UK) Ltd.’s wholesaler and IT systems operator James Hall & Co. Ltd. on Dec. 5 forced the closure of more than 300 Spar convenience stores across north of England, BBC reported. The cyber attack knocked down Spar’s tills and IT systems, affecting digital payments.
