U.S.-based Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has gained the ownership of Bermuda-based catastrophe bond issuance platform and insurance-linked securities transformer vehicle Resilience Re Ltd. through its acquisition of Willis Re Ltd., Artemis reported. Resilience Re will help strengthen Gallagher’s portfolio by bringing a platform that can help the latter’s clients gain easy access to catastrophe bond capacity.
