San Diego to impose vaccination mandate, despite police opposition

San Diego will impose a vaccine mandate on city employees, including police officers, despite strong opposition from the police union, the Los Angeles Times reports. The San Diego Police Officers Association remains at odds with the city over the mandate despite several rounds of negotiations. About 37% of roughly 1,900 police officers on the force were unvaccinated as of late November.
