Lloyd’s stops coverage for state-sponsored cyber war losses

Lloyd’s of London has decided to stop covering losses related to state-sponsored cyber attacks as part of its newly issued cyber war and cyber operation exclusion clauses, Threatpost reported. The new clauses, released by Lloyd’s Underwriting Director Patrick Davidson, enables Lloyd’s to refuse insurance payouts for any cyber-war-related attacks on a state and its services, including utilities, financial institutions and others.
