Car exports plunge 17% due to supply chain issues

Data from the German Federal Statistics Office showed that Germany’s car exports declined 17.2% in the third quarter of the year mainly due to the semiconductor chip shortage and other supply chain issues, Investing.com reported citing Reuters. Sales of cars with combustion engines fell sharply while that of electric vehicles increased.
