Credit insurance in demand as payment practices deteriorate

A report by Dutch trade credit insurer Atradius NV said that more than half of the businesses in Western Europe are looking to use credit insurance next year as payment practices deteriorate, especially since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Actuarial Post reported. Overdue payments, write-offs and even insolvencies are on a rise, reflecting increased business uncertainty and risk.
