Italian antitrust authority has fined Amazon.com Inc. and Apple Inc. more than €200 million ($225 million) for alleged anti-competitive cooperation over how Apple and Beats products are sold, Reuters reported. According to the Italian regulator, a 2018 agreement between the companies allowed only selected resellers to sell the Apple and Beats products on Amazon’s Italian marketplace, violating European Union’s anti-trust laws and restricting competition.
