Disney rescinds vaccination mandate in Florida following new state law

The Walt Disney Co. has paused a coronavirus vaccine mandate for employees of its Florida theme park after the Florida Legislature and the governor made it illegal for employers to require all workers get the shots, the New York Times report. More than 90% of active cast members at World Disney World in Orlando, Florida, have verified they are vaccinated, the company said, before it sent a memo to employees halting the mandate.
