About 80% of restaurateurs accept Axa’s COVID-19 BI offer

French insurer Axa SA has concluded its proposed offer for covering restaurants’ COVID-19 business interruption losses, with 80% of the restaurant owners enrolling for the offer as of Nov. 15, Les Echos reported. Axa proposed a €300 million ($345 million) COVID-19-related BI settlement for nearly 15,000 restaurant customers this summer, as it looked to settle the claims amicably and end the ongoing legal disputes.
