More competent reinsurers emerge in Africa

France-based pan-African insurance broker Olea Insurance Solutions’ co-founders said that more competent reinsurers are emerging in Africa, contributing to greater risk appetite and improved quality of risk coverage, Middle East Insurance Review reported. Olea’s co-founders, Olivier Dubois and Olivier Canuel, said the increased number of reinsurers would help reduce the gap in capacity and quality of reinsurance services in Africa.
