Hospitality group takes Axa to court over COVID-19 BI losses

U.K.-based hospitality group in the U.K. Corbin & King Ltd. is taking insurer Axa SA to the court over the latter’s denial of business interruption insurance claims arising from COVID-19 related business loss, City AM reported citing Financial Times. The outcome of the lawsuit, which is due to be heard in the U.K. High Court in January, will affect similar policies held by businesses that suffered losses due to the pandemic.
