A driver in Leicester, England, who was caught without tax or insurance at 2 a.m. on Sunday had his car seized by police while he stopped to buy strawberries.

Adding insult to injury, the officer in charge of the local police’s Twitter account decided to announce the arrest to the world about an hour later, according to the Leicester Mercury.

“Driver had stopped to buy strawberries but wasn’t berry happy when told his car was being seized for no tax and insurance,” the police tweeted.

As well as suffering from the pun on social media, the driver could face a £1,000 ($1,350) fine for not paying his vehicle tax and lose even more for not insuring the car.

According to the Mercury, the police can seize and in some cases “destroy the uninsured vehicle.”
