Christoph Jurecka, chief financial officer at Munich Reinsurance Co., said that while reinsurance pricing in some catastrophe-prone markets is on the rise, pricing should also increase in some less-impacted regions and perils as risks evolve, Reinsurance News reported. Mr. Jurecka expects pricing hikes in the European market at the upcoming January renewals, especially after the summer floods.
