Hackers demand $50 million after hacking into Mediamarkt

Cybercriminal group Hive hacked into Europe’s biggest consumer electronics retailer’s network on Nov. 8 and have demanded a ransom of $50 million in Bitcoin, The Brussels Times reported citing RTL Nieuws. The attack affected operations of over 1,000 Mediamarkt stores across Europe.
