Germany suffers record $33.8 billion damage from July floods

The German government has estimated a record €29.2 billion ($33.8 billion) in damage from the heavy rains and floods that struck Germany in July, Trend reported citing TASS. The German states of Rhineland-Palatinate and North Rhine-Westphalia suffered most damage from the heavy rains that started on July 12.
