VSP acquires iCare Health Solutions, expanding vision care network in Florida

Vision insurance and eyewear company VSP Global has acquired iCare Health Solutions, a Tampa, Florida-based eye care network and service administrator, for an undisclosed amount, reports the Sacramento Business Journal. Rancho Cordova, California-based VSP said the acquisition was made by its not-for-profit vision insurance subsidiary, VSP Vision Care, which bought the company from Pine Tree Equity Partners, a Miami-based private equity firm.
