Insurance market hardening unlikely to end soon: Marsh CEO

Dan Glaser, president and CEO of Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc., said that the global insurance market hardening is unlikely to end anytime soon, as the average commercial insurance rate continued to increase in the third quarter, Commercial Risk reported citing Seeking Alpha. According to Marsh’s Global Insurance Market Index, the average global commercial insurance price grew 15% year-over-year in the third quarter.
