Brazilian BPO falls victim to ransomware attack

A ransomware attack on Brazil-based business-process outsourcing firm Atento SA on Oct.17 forced the company to deactivate some of its systems to prevent possible data leaks, Canaltech reported citing TecMundo. Atento has been hit by the Lockbit 2.0 ransomware.
