Australian court’s BI test case ruling in favor of insurers

The Federal Court of Australia has ruled that the majority of the nine business interruption insurance policies involved in the BI test case do not cover COVID-19 related financial losses, dealing a huge blow to small businesses, ABC News reported. Insurers faced an estimated $10 billion Australian ($7.4 billion) in BI claims from roughly 250,000 policies.
