UnitedHealth to mandate vaccination for most U.S. employees

UnitedHealth Group Inc. will require COVID-19 vaccination for many of its employees, a move by that substantially broadens a push by the health care industry to get workers immunized, according to the Minneapolis StarTribune. A spokesman for the Minnetonka, Minn.-based company, the nation's largest health insurer, said the policy applies to a "significant portion" of the roughly 220,000 employees in the United States, including about 18,000 in Minnesota.
