Volvo recalls 460,000 cars due to faulty airbags

Swedish carmaker AB Volvo has recalled 460,000 cars worldwide due to risky air bag inflator that could explode and release sharp metal fragments which could injure or kill the driver and other passengers, Nasdaq reported citing RTTNews. The recall involves two models produced between 2001 and 2009. The faulty component has resulted in the death of at least one person.
