Fire at data center expected to cost $122 million

French cloud computing company OVH Groupe SAS a fire that damaged its data center in Strasbourg earlier this year resulted in €105 million ($122 million) in losses, DataCenter Dynamics reported citing L'Usine Nouvelle. Of the total amount, the company has recovered €58 million from its insurance while a large proportion is contingency funds for potential customer claims for the damage from the fire that affected the businesses of nearly 65,000 customers.
