Everest names former Chubb exec as head of claims

Everest Insurance, the primary insurance arm of Everest Re Group Ltd., on Monday named former Chubb claims executive Andrew McBride as senior vice president, global head of claims.
London-based Mr. McBride will report to Mike Karmilowicz, president and CEO of Everest Insurance, the insurer said in a statement.
Most recently, Mr. McBride was executive vice president of claims for Chubb’s international business. He joined the insurer in 2012.
