Insurance surcharge would persuade 43% of unvaccinated to get shots: Poll

A survey by Affordable Health Insurance found that 43% of unvaccinated individuals said additional charges for insurance tied to their COVID-19 vaccination status would convince them to get a shot, reports Becker’s Hospital Review. The survey by the Hartford, Conn.-based health insurance advisor also found that a proposed monthly surcharge would make 25% of respondents consider getting the vaccine, but they were not certain.
