Saudi insurers’ see over 8% rise in premiums

Data from the Saudi Central Bank showed that local insurers’ aggregate gross written premium increased by more than 8% year-on-year to 9.4 billion Saudi Arabian riyals ($2.5 billion) in the second quarter of the year, Middle East Insurance Review reported. The insurers saw nearly 4% year-on-year growth in premiums to SAR22.2 billion in the first half of the year.
