Amazon Care plans to expand in-person care to 20 new cities

Amazon Care, the virtual health platform of Amazon, plans to bring in-person health care to 20 major cities by the end of 2022, according to an Insider report cited by Becker’s Hospital Review. Amazon is looking to bring both telehealth and in-person care to Philadelphia, Chicago, Dallas and Boston in 2021, and plans to add in-person care in 16 cities in 2022: Atlanta; Denver; Detroit; Houston; Indianapolis; Kansas City, Mo.; Los Angeles; Miami; Minneapolis; Nashville, Tenn.; New York City; Phoenix; Pittsburgh; San Francisco; San Jose, Calif.; and St. Louis, Insider reports.
