Ryan Specialty’s underwriting CEO steps down

Tom Clark, CEO of RSG Underwriting Managers, the underwriting arm of Ryan Specialty Group Holdings Inc., is leaving the company, effective Sept. 30.
In a statement Wednesday, Mr. Clark said: “It is unfortunate that I have to unexpectedly step away from my role at Ryan Specialty due to a private personal matter. However, I am extremely thankful for the opportunity to have worked with such a fine team, and I regret that I will not be able to remain a part of this incredible organization.”
Nick Cortezi will continue as chairman of the unit, and Miles Wuller will remain president, the statement said.
Mr. Clark joined Ryan Specialty from Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. in January and was named CEO of the underwriting unit in March.
