FM Global appoints more executives

FM Global on Tuesday named Lyndon D. Broad senior vice president, chief underwriting officer and David M. Johnson senior vice president, chief client experience officer as the major property insurer continues to realign its leadership.

Based in Johnston, Rhode Island, FM Global recently named company executive vice president Malcolm C. Roberts as successor to longtime CEO Thomas Lawson.

Mr. Broad will manage the company’s underwriting and reinsurance functions. He was most recently operations senior vice president of FM Global’s Boston operations and succeeds Randall E. Hodge, who was promoted to executive vice president, staff insurance operations, FM Global said in its statement Tuesday.

Mr. Johnson will oversee client experience, market relations, marketing and the company’s business risk consulting group. He was most recently operations senior vice president of FM Global’s Atlanta operations and succeeds George J. Plesce, who was named executive vice president, U.S., Latin America and sales.

Both will be based in Johnston, Rhode Island, and both report to Randy Hodge, executive vice president of staff insurance operations, according to an email from a spokesman.

Shortly after announcing its CEO succession, FM Global also made a series of senior appointments.
