Alliant adds former Willis exec to public entity practice

Alliant Insurance Services Inc. Wednesday named former Willis Towers Watson PLC executive Mike Honeycutt as senior vice president, Alliant Public Entity.

Mr. Honeycutt will focus on public entity clients in Alliant’s newly created public entity, education and pooling practice.

He is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and reports to Daniel Howell, senior executive vice president, Alliant Public Entity, according to an email from a spokeswoman.

Most recently, Mr. Honeycutt was a senior vice president at Willis.

This is Alliant’s second such hire recently.
