A report by Swiss Re Ltd. said that the severity of property insurance claims could increase in the short term due to a rise in inflation triggered by current supply-demand imbalances and recovery from the COVID-19 induced recession, Reinsurance News reported. According to the report, social inflation is expected to drive up the liability claims.
