Amazon fined nearly $890 million for GDPR violations

Luxembourg’s National Commission for Data Protection has fined Amazon Inc. €746 million ($887 million) for breaching European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation, CNBC reported. The privacy watchdog said that Amazon’s personal data processing did not comply with the GDPR requirements.
