Mapfre sees over 6% growth in written premiums

Spain-based insurer Mapfre SA’s total written premiums increased by more than 6% year-on-year in the first half of the year, with its reinsurance business recording more than 11% growth in premiums, Salesground reported. Mapfre reported nearly 7% growth in written premiums in Spain to €4.2 billion ($4.96 billion), while its North American business saw around 8% drop.
