Gallagher to buy remaining stakes in Indian insurance JV

U.S.-based insurance broker Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. is acquiring the remaining stake in India-based Edelweiss Gallagher Insurance Brokers Ltd. from partner Edelweiss Financial Services Ltd., subject to regulatory approvals, Verdict reported. Gallagher bought a 30% stake in Edelweiss Gallagher in 2019.
