Land transport of dangerous goods, lithium batteries suspended

Shanghai authorities have suspended the land transport of containerized non-essential dangerous goods, including lithium batteries which are in high demand across sector ranging from electric vehicles to computers, until July 2, The Loadstar reported. The suspension on the transport of non-essential dangerous cargo comes after two recent fire incidents at Shanghai ports.
