Pub group seeks over $19 million in BI claims from insurers
Posted On: Jun. 23, 2021 10:38 AM CSTAn Australian group of nine pubs, including Melbourne’s iconic Espy, is seeking a $26 million Australian ($19.4 million) insurance payout from its insurers for the COVID-19 pandemic-triggered business interruption during the first lockdown, Asia Gaming Brief reported citing The Australian. The pub group has filed suit against its insurers, including Chubb Insurance Australia Ltd., Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance, Axa XL and Arch Underwriting At Lloyd's Ltd.
