Several corporate sponsors of the upcoming Tokyo Olympic Games are concerned about the potential brand damage they could suffer from their association with the tournament amid growing demand for the delay or cancelation of the games over fears of a surge in COVID-19 cases in Japan, Inside Sport reported citing the Financial Times. The companies have reportedly hired consulting firms to assess the potential brand damage.
