Lexington names Chmieleski head of professional lines

Lexington Insurance Co., the surplus lines unit of American International Group Inc., has promoted Susan Chmieleski to the new role of head of professional lines.
Hartford, Connecticut-based Ms. Chmieleski, who was previously head of health care at the insurer, will oversee health care professional liability, architects and engineers professional liability, and the LexPro businesses, according to a company memo.
Bob Rogers, head of architects and engineers professional liability, and Julia Keenan, head of LexPro, will continue in their leadership roles and will report to Ms. Chmieleski, the memo said.
Ms. Chmieleski, who joined Lexington from Willis Towers Watson PLC in 2018, will report to Lou Levinson, president and CEO of Lexington.
Prior to joining Willis, Ms. Chmieleski was president, North American health care, at Allied World Assurance Co. Ltd.
