Mount Merapi erupts four times

Indonesia’s Geological Disaster Technology Research and Development Center said that the Mount Merapi volcano erupted four times on June 3, sending lava streams as far as a mile away from the crater, The Weekend Leader reported citing IANS. The volcano, located on the border of Central Java and Yogyakarta regions in Indonesia, experienced 43 avalanche earthquakes and five gust earthquakes.
