Zurich lands executive from Allstate

Neeren Chauhan has left Allstate Insurance Co. to join Zurich North America as head of strategy, innovation and business development, a new position, the insurer said Thursday.
Mr. Chauhan, who will report to Zurich North America CEO Kristof Terryn, begins Monday and will be based in Schaumburg, Illinois, Zurich said in its statement.
He was previously vice president, distribution transformation and market share growth for Allstate, which he joined in 2013.
