Hamilton names head of allied medical for US E&S

Hamilton Insurance Group Ltd. said it has named Kevin Price, formerly with Riggs, Counselman, Michaels & Downes Inc., as head of allied medical for its U.S. excess and surplus business.
Mr. Price will be based in Richmond, Virginia, and report to Clay Rhoades, Hamilton’s president of U.S. E&S, in the new position, the Hamilton Bermuda-based company said in a statement.
Mr. Price, who was client services team leader at RCM&D, will be responsible for building out Hamilton’s allied medical liability insurance business.
Baltimore-based RCM&D agreed to merge with Cleveland-based brokerage Oswald Cos. in December.
