Hacked health service gets ransomware decryptor for free

The Conti ransomware group, which hacked into the Irish healthcare system on May 14, has provided a decryption tool to the healthcare system for free but has threatened to sell or publish the stolen data if the ransom is not paid, BBC reported citing the national broadcaster RTE. The hackers reportedly demanded a ransom of $20 million from the Health Service Executive. The government has denied any payment of ransom.
