Kansas bill on short-term health care insurance vetoed

Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly has vetoed legislation that backers said might have stimulated participants in short-term health plans to remain longer with the plans, the Associated Press reported.  Gov. Kelly in her veto message labeled such plans as "junk" because the plans don't provide adequate coverage.
